Uploading Photos

Hey everyone,

So we've seen some issues with photo uploads and while I haven't personally encountered any I certainly won't deny they exist.  So I'd like to recommend using the image and photo hosting website Photobucket.  If you don't have it or don't know what it is you can check out the link below and sign-up:

If/when you do have a Photobucket account you can upload all of your photos there and host them and then just copy and paste the links directly into the body of text you're working on.  They have an app you can use to upload or you can do it from a computer.

To paste the image directly into your post make sure you use the "IMG" URL under the Share This Photo URL links.  You can left click the URL and it'll copy it for you quickly.

One of the other benefits of using a host website and posting a link is instant page opening. You have no drought noticed opening some pages where it takes a while loading the images. These are uploaded images to the server that have to be generated where links to Photobucket or other hosts are instant images. Plus you can use your host's links in all other forums, emails, PMs and wherever you may need to post or send a link...all with one upload to one place. I have had a photobucket account for almost 10 years now and have many hundreds of photos there now. There are others that work well too however Photobucket was the first and is still the most popular. Other benefits are that as you are limited to the number of attachments or files you upload to a forum's server, links are not regulated-only number per post sometimes and that's like 10 or so and the space on the server that the forum is hosted from doesn't require more room to store those uploaded files..which in time will cost the owners more also you have a place you can access from your phone or tablet any time to show-off your pics and not eat up valuable space on your devices storing them.
