« on: October 26, 2018, 11:39:04 AM »
NMK HELP!!! Lol - I cant for the life of me figure out why my cigarette adapter isn’t working. All of my fuses are fine and it appears the wiring is all connected. Any ideas?

Well if you have power and ground at the receptacle then the receptacle would be the culprit

Like REDRIDER says, test for power to the receptacle and test the other lead for using ohms setting. If if both there, replace the receptacle. Of course the loss of either will cause the same outcome.Also..step-1, look inside to make sure the center probe is clean and nothing has gotten down inside and well as the sides.

Put more power points in. Can never have too many.  8)

That’s actually what I ended up doing, I ran 2 additional cigarette adapters off the battery. Works great as long as I disconnect my Bluetooth speaker and whatever else is plugged in so I don’t drain my battery. Can I somehow connect those new adapters to the ignition so they can just stay permanently plugged in?

You could. You could keep it wired the way it is but break one of the circuits and install a relay and jumper the switch side of the relay from a key on power source that will complete the circuit for the power outlets for when the key is on.
